About me

Hi, my name is Erin Nelson.  Welcome to my website!  Chances are that we have met in person somewhere between Delaware and the Florida Keys while doing one of my many shows along the coast.  My home is a place called Emerald Isle NC, but I also spend 3-4 months in the Keys.  I have been a creative person for as long as I can remember and have had some formal training in painting as well.  Over the last several years, I have honed my skills on pet portraits.  It is such a joy to me to create these colorful, one of a kind treasures for some many folks.  Is there anything better than the love of  a furry friend?  My dogs are my babies and bring me so much joy and laughter, which is why I love capturing them on canvas.  I use bright colors in my portraits because I think that it is so reflective of the personalities of the subjects that I am painting.  I would love to work with you on creating your lasting treasure.
